Bài thuốc từ quả gấc

Dầu gấc dùng bổ sung vitamin A cho trẻ con chậm lớn, khô mắt, quáng gà, kém ăn, mệt mỏi, hoặc dùng bôi vết thương, vết bỏng. Hạt gấc trị mụn nhọt, tràng hạt, quai bị, sưng vú, tắc tia sữa…

Gấc có giống quả vàng và giống quả đỏ được trồng nhiều ở vùng trung du và đồng bằng Bắc Bộ.

Bộ phận dùng: Hạt gấc đã bóc bỏ áo hạt, phơi hay sấy khô; dầu gấc được ép từ màng hạt đã phơi hoặc sấy khô; rễ thu hái vào mùa đông rửa sạch và phơi khô.

Công dụng: Dầu gấc được dùng trong những trường hợp cơ thể cần vitamin A như trẻ con chậm lớn, bệnh khô mắt, quáng gà, người kém ăn, mệt mỏi. Dùng ngoài bôi vào vết thương, vết bỏng làm mau lên da non, chóng lành. Dầu gấc dùng kèm với một số kháng khuẩn đặc hiệu trị được bệnh trứng cá có nhân. Dầu gấc nhuận tràng, thích hợp cho người táo bón. Người lớn mỗi ngày 10-20 giọt, chia làm 2 lần, uống trước bữa ăn chính. Trẻ em 5-10 giọt mỗi ngày.

Hạt gấc dùng theo kinh nghiệm nhân dân trị mụn nhọt, tràng hạt lâu ngày không khỏi, quai bị, sưng vú, tắc tia sữa, trĩ, lòi dom. Có nơi còn dùng trị sốt rét có báng. Chủ yếu dùng ngoài, khi dùng phải cẩn thận, mỗi ngày dùng 1-2g.

Rễ gấc trị tê thấp, sưng chân, phù với liều dùng 4g/ngày.

Gốc dây gấc phối hợp với đơn gối hạc, mộc thông, tỳ giải, mỗi vị 15g, sắc uống hoặc dùng ngoài ngâm rượu xoa bóp cũng trị phong thấp, sưng chân.

Bài thuốc có hạt gấc:

– Trị mụn nhọt, ghẻ lở: Nhân hạt gấc mài với nước, bôi.

– Trị sưng vú: Nhân hạt gấc giã với một ít rượu 30-40 độ đắp lên chỗ sưng đau.

– Trị trĩ, lòi dom: Hạt gấc giã nát, thêm một ít giấm, gói bằng vải, đắp để suốt đêm.

– Trị sốt rét có báng: Hạt gấc và vảy tê tê, hai vị bằng nhau, sấy khô tán bột. Mỗi lần dùng 2g hòa với rượu ấm uống lúc đói.
